The back lawn here had worn thin and patchy, with bare ground showing between the fences. Replacing it meant taking the old turf out completely, not laying new sod over the top of it.

The side of the house got its own fix: the grade was corrected, excess soil and weeds were taken out, and landscape fabric went down.

How the Sage Hill back yard was stripped, graded and sodded

Strip. Took out the old lawn with our Bobcat MT100.
Rough grade. Rough-graded the back yard.
Topsoil. Spread fresh topsoil and finished the level.
Sod. Laid premium sod, cut to the fences and the deck.
Roll. Rolled the new lawn for good soil contact and left the watering guidance with the homeowner.
Side yard. Regraded the side of the house, removed the excess soil and weeds, laid landscape fabric and cleaned up.
