Chestermere's yards, specifically

Chestermere grew fast. Westmere, Rainbow Falls, Kinniburgh, Dawson's Landing, The Cove and Lakepointe all went up on deep fill, and that fill is still settling under a lot of these lawns.

What you notice: a soggy strip along the fence, water sitting by the deck after a storm, or a lawn that never greened up on the high side.

On the lake side and the walkout lots the grade change between the house and the yard is steep, so a small settling problem turns into a real drainage problem quickly. Why do Chestermere yards drain badly?

Chestermere's newer neighbourhoods are built on fill that keeps settling after the builder lays sod. Low spots form and the slope flattens or reverses toward the house. On walkout and lake lots the grade change is steep, which makes it worse. The fix is re-cutting the grade and, where needed, adding drainage.

For 2026 we’re booked out for fall — new work is booked for spring 2027: measured and quoted this fall, with the quoted price held for a spring install and no deposit until spring (fence excepted).
