We’re booking spring 2027: get measured and quoted now. For every service except fence, your quoted price holds for a spring install and there’s no deposit until spring. A quote written from December holds once you approve it, unless the scope or material costs change. Local Lawns is booked out for fall 2026.

This Chaparral yard was done as one job, front and back. The old lawn was replaced with new sod. Along the side of the house, a Rundle rock bed on landscape fabric with metal edging now carries a path of natural stone stepping stones, and new shrubs went in around the house.

How the Chaparral yard was built, front and back

Strip. Took out the existing grass front and back.
Grade and topsoil. Rough-graded the yards and installed fresh topsoil.
Sod. Laid premium sod front and back and did the final levelling.
Rock bed. Laid landscape fabric and metal edging, then spread Rundle rock along the side of the house and in the front bed.
Stepping stones. Set natural stone stepping stones in the rock bed, each on its own prepared base, levelled and aligned.
Planting. Planted shrubs front and back with proper spacing and soil preparation.
