The transformation
Project photos are being added — this page shows the work and the process.
The front raised flower bed was boxed in with old concrete that had cracked and heaved, and the front steps were tired. The homeowner had a clear picture of the rock-and-paver look they wanted and needed a crew that could execute it end to end.

Result
The front bed, rock, pavers and new steps were built to the homeowner's own vision — a solid edged base under the rock instead of the old concrete that had already cracked and heaved once.
“Highly recommend Local Lawns for construction and landscaping. They rebuilt my front raised flower bed, removed all the old broken concrete and replaced it with rainbow rock and pavers. Replaced the stairs too. Hardworking, great to deal with. Built exactly to my vision. Would hire them again.”

FAQ
Why remove the old concrete instead of building over it?
Cracked, heaved concrete means the base underneath already failed — building rock or pavers on top of it just inherits the same problem. Pulling it out and rebuilding the base properly is the only way the new bed stays flat.
Can you build to a specific design instead of a standard layout?
Yes — this bed was built to the homeowner's own layout for the rock, pavers and steps, not a standard template. Bring a design or a photo of what you want and we'll quote it.
